Born again American

I'm a born again American, conceived in liberty. My bible and the Bill of Rights, my creed's equality. I'm a born again American, my country 'tis of me, and everyone who shares the dream from sea to shining sea.

Those are the lyrics for the chorus of "Born Again American," a song written by a man named Keith Caradine and performed in the video below by Americans from across the country.

It's a cool video and worth watching with the sound up. I can't imagine the work put into coordinating this project.

The song is featured on the Web site Born Again American, which is "an initiative of Declare Yourself, a national non-partisan, non-profit (501(c)3) organization dedicated to increasing young voter participation and civic involvement."

Sounds like a good cause. There's also a pledge you can sign to recommit yourself to the Declaration of Independence.
