Live from conservatism, it's Saturday Night!

I gave up watching Saturday Night Live during the 2008 presidential campaign season, because the show annoyed me with its biased parodies of the candidates. Although Tina Fey's impression of former Gov. Sarah Palin was at first accurately hilarious, her weekly appearances became overdone and hurtful. Meanwhile, skits involving then-Sen. Barack Obama weren't attacking at all. Rather, the only jabs the show made were at the media's love for Obama.

Now, some of SNL's current and former stars are starting to win back my support.

Victoria Jackson, who acted on SNL from 1986-1992, has been an outspoken critic of the Democratic Party, particularly Obama, and is involved with the Tea Party movement. She's made appearances on Fox, blogged about politics and given speeches at Tea Parties.

Her latest act, shown below, is a song she wrote called "There's A Communist Living In The White House." With her squeaky voice and trusty ukulele, the performance is outright hilarious -- and honest. It's an SNL-worthy skit.

Why aren't people shocked or something? Why aren't people up in arms?
Does anyone read history or see red flags or hear alarms?

But that's not all. Maybe Jackson has had an influence on SNL's producers, because back in November, they finally wrote a skit that brought to light Obama's illogical budgetary plans and fiscal irresponsibility. The clip below airs the same facts and points many Americans have been shouting in frustration for months (only SNL does it in a more comical way).

You know, as I listen to you, I am noticing that each of your plans to save money involves spending even more money. This does not inspire confidence.

So you get it now, SNL? Great! I say, invite Jackson to be a guest host -- and the musical act, too, with her uke.

John Stewart, now it's your turn to wise up.
