Chris Christie's budget feat
Gov. Chris Christie, R-N.J., passed the state's lowest budget in five years, closing an $11 billion deficit WITHOUT RAISING TAXES. Here's how he did it:
We stayed to our core principals; we stood firmly on them. We negotiated in areas where we had to negotiate -- but very little -- and 99.80 percent of the budget that I presented on March 16 was passed on June 28.
